Fall Block Planning Committee

Stepshow

The Annual Fall Block Step Show coordinated by the Fall Block Planning Committee exists to be THE fall event of VCU. This year’s show will mark the 23rd year the event has taken place. The target market and audience for this year's step show will not only be limited to the anxious students of the University but marketed to the Richmond community and accompanying public school systems who await a great show as well. It is to motivate and encourage youth to aspire to better, enter a college and take part in such an experience themselves.

In alignment with such efforts, Fall Block Week is about creating an environment on the campus of Virginia Commonwealth University that showcases what Greek Life and the NPHC is all about. It is to be used as the forceful vehicle by which VCU NPHC is mandated to not only increase awareness about Black Greek Letter Organization’s but a time as well to showcase the guiding principles of community service, scholarship, leadership and achievements which unite the NPHC as the powerful body that it is.

Let it be known that the competitions designed for Fall Block Week to showcase such principles and the respective outcomes of the activities are by no means representative of the total efforts of any organization. It is to be understood that the competitions of Fall Block Week are designed to highlight and make more visible the efforts that are already being done by Black Greek Letter Organizations on both the local and national levels.

With that being said, the Fall Block Planning Committee has worked diligently and is confident that everyone will enjoy the activities that are planned for this year's step show. So do yourself a favor and don’t miss out on this year’s most anticipated step show. All the talk and all the controversy will come to an end here as there can only be one fraternity winner and one sorority winner.
