The Delta Upsilon Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc. was the first Greek letter fraternity chartered at Virginia Commonwealth University on August 21, 1970. Every Spring they host the VCU Memorial Scholarship Stepshow (Formerly known as the Larry Brown Memorial Stepshow) from which all proceeds go to fund a scholarship for High School and VCU Students. It is important to note that though many members of Phi Beta Sigma are talented steppers, the focus of the organization is that of service to the community.
